All our Happy Learners sessions, containing 12 multi-sensory tuff tray activities, will be based around different weekly themes, which will provide exciting, fun, educational learning experiences for both boys and girls. At the end of the session there will also be a snow machine!
Block of 7sessions is £45.50 per child and £24.50 for the second child (sibling).
Through the topics we aim to provide exciting, fun, educational learning opportunities through the use of a variety of multi-sensory / messy play themed toys, natural objects and materials. Children and adults will be encouraged to explore and mess around with themed; water play, small world toys, paints, sensory playdough, jumbo chalks, coloured rice/pasta, sand and sensory toys. Helpful learning objectives to accompany each of the activities on offer will be displayed on a noticeboard, to ensure that both children and adults gain the most from the learning experiences on offer.
Please aim to arrive approx. 5 minutes before the start of each toddler group session (12.55pm), so that you can sign in, read what’s on offer, discuss any allergy concerns and find the correct size apron for your happy learner/s. A selection of sensory books will be available to help keep your child/(ren) amused until the start of the session.
All children will be provided with a tabard style apron to wear, but we do advise that best clothes are not worn and short sleeved t-shirts are recommended, as paint is easier to wash off arms than clothes. It might be an idea to bring a spare set of clothes and a towel too. The majority of messy type activities will be on stands to minimise the mess on children, however you never know!
For health and safety reasons, please can all adults and children wear flat shoes as the floor will be covered in foam mats.
